Students come to Costa Rica with varying degrees of Spanish proficiency. Thus, LASP places each student in Spanish language coursework that corresponds to each participant's abilities. Students study grammar, conversation, phonetics and/or literature based on proficiency levels. Classes are taught by Latin Americans, so students learn Spanish the way it is spoken in Latin America.
