A study of topics from methods of finding zeros of functions, approximation of functions by polynomials, finite differences, numerical integration, solutions of systems of linear equations, numerical solutions of differential equations, and round-off error analysis.
Prerequisites: COSC 1303 and either MATH 1613 or MATH 2013.
