Analysis and design of power delivery systems operating over a wide range of currents and voltages with emphasis on conversion from electric to thermal energy for welding applications. Topics include transformers, magnetic effects, lasers, power conditioning, electromagnetic interference problems, and testing techniques.
Prerequisites: EEGR 2053 and ENGR 2122.
