LeTourneau University will present popular dance company Epiphany DanceArts for a special event at 10:50 a.m. Friday, April 19, in the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave., in Longview.
The morning chapel performance is free and open to the public.
Epiphany DanceArts is a professional dance company that employs a blend of diverse music such as Mumford and Sons, Etta James, and Adele, with dance that includes classical ballet, modern and theatre dance, in its performances with the goal to create something sacred.
"A Night of Dance," is a dance concert that tells several stories. Stories full of struggle and longing, giddiness and hope, beauty and truth. Ephipany DanceArts’ mission is to perform with a high level of excellence, innovation, and purpose to bring about personal growth in people's lives through education, networking, collaboration, and performance.
Since its inception in 2010, the Dallas, Texas-based group has made volunteer appearances in a number of churches and hospitals. In addition, the Epiphany dancers offer instruction and training programs for individuals of all skill levels. These lessons include advanced classes for professionals seeking to improve their craft.
