Dale Rhoton - Operation Mobilization

About the Speaker

Operation Mobilization is a Christian mission organization, inspiring and equipping believers to expand God's kingdom.

Dale Rhoton has been with Operation Mobilization from its inception in the late 1950's. His passion is to share what God is doing around the world. He is excited to realize that our generation is seeing a unique movement of the Holy Spirit in Asia, Africa and South America. At the same time, there are many great needs and open doors.

Dale had the privilege of joining George Verwer on his first trip to Mexico (1957). This was the beginning of OM. In the ‘60s he pioneered and directed OM ministries in the Middle East and Communist Europe. Since 1978, he has been in the ship ministry, serving 15 years as the CEO of OM Ships. In 1999, he turned over the main leadership responsibility to a colleague and is now promoting the ship ministry in North America and Asia full-time.

He is married to Elaine, whom he met while studying at Wheaton College. She has written two books about OM ships: The Logos Story and The Doulos Story. They presently live in southern California. They have two sons and a daughter. They all have families and live in different countries: John in Vienna (Austria), David in Barcelona (Spain) and Sharon in Dallas (USA).

Chapel begins at 10:50AM
