Caroline Cobb’s most recent album, the Blood + the Breath: Songs that Tell the Story of Redemption reached #6 on iTunes Christian/Gospel charts and made iTunes’ “New and Notable” list the very next week. The critically-acclaimed the Blood + the Breath is a journey through the biblical story of redemption, from creation to the second coming. Caroline has been compared to John Mark McMillan, Sandra McCracken, and Rich Mullins.
“There are so many stories in the Bible, but they are really all telling the same bigger story: the story of redemption, the story of a loving God who rescues us from sin and death through Jesus. I’m so excited for people to have an album that will tell this story,” says Caroline. “After all, this is the Story that gives meaning to our own.”
Caroline is also the founding member of “The Scripture to Music Collective,” a blog featuring an ever-growing collection of songs that faithfully and creatively tell God’s Story. The idea for this site came from her personal goal of writing a song for every book of the Bible.
