Rotary International Rotary International

Interested applicants must apply for Ambassadorial Scholarships through their local Rotary club. Before completing the application, contact your local Rotary club to make sure that the district participates in this program. Because timelines vary, only your local club can provide specific information about application deadlines. Please see the Office of International Studies to find out more about local clubs where LeTourneau faculty and staff are involved.

The Gilman Program

The Gilman Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, offers scholarships for students with financial need who have been traditionally under-represented in education abroad.

Boren Awards for International Study

Funding from the National Security Education Program (NSEP) supports U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S . interests.

Fulbright U.S. Student Program

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program equips future American leaders with the skills they need to thrive in an increasingly global environment by providing funding for one academic year of study or research abroad, to be conducted after graduation from an accredited university. Included are English Teaching Assistantships, which provide opportunities for U.S. students to assist in classrooms in selected countries.

IIE Internships: Budapest and Mexico City

The IIE European and Latin American offices host internship programs for college students or recent graduates who wish to gain cultural and professional experience while interning with an international non-profit organization.

The Language Flagship, a National Security Education Program Initiative, is designed to help individuals achieve superior level proficiency in certain critical languages.

Language and Culture Assistants in Spain

The Ministry of Education of Spain is pleased to announce over 2,000 grants for American participants to serve as teaching assistants in Spain, sharing their native knowledge of the English or French language and North American culture in Spanish public K-12 schools. Teaching assistants receive a minimum monthly stipend of 700 euros and full medical insurance.
