This degree is offered on ground at the LeTourneau University Longview campus.

LeTourneau University’s new MSc program builds on 50 years of excellence in engineering education and 15 years of undergraduate research experience.

Our state-of-the-art labs allow us to perform high quality relevant research in biomechanics, fluid dynamics, automation and robotics, advanced materials development and joining engineering.

You’ll be taking part in one of the first graduate-level Engineering programs to integrate Christian faith with teaching and research, and you will benefit from a close and harmonious collaboration with a distinguished faculty who bring academic excellence and research expertise to the classroom.

Ongoing Engineering research deals with a broad variety of issues such as biomechanics studies of ACL and shoulder joint simulations, automation and robotics, electronic materials and nuclear plant life extension, as well as polymeric composite structural materials.

Classes and labs are taught in:

  • The Glaske Center for Engineering, Science and Technology
  • Machine Tool and Design lab
  • Civil Engineering lab
  • Materials Joining Engineering lab (the only stand-alone facility of its kind in the nation)

Areas of Specialization

The Master of Engineering non-thesis option offers the same areas of Specialization as the thesis Master of Science in Engineering option, only through coursework.
