History Education

If your goal is to teach junior high or high school, you’ll work closely with a professor with a long history of doing just that. Dr. Bobby Johnson has 10 years experience in Texas public secondary schools and can provide advice based upon real-world experience.

Students will meet regularly with Dr. Johnson in preparation for the ExCET/TExES exams for Texas teacher certification in history or for social studies composite certification, which includes history, government, geography and economics.
